Chicago has amazing museums! Some of our favorites include the Field Museum, the Art Institute, the Museum of Science and Industry, the Shedd Aquarium, and the Adler Planetarium.
Weather permitting, this is a great place to go on a nice walk with bars and restaurants along to the way to stop for a drink or a bite to eat!
Also known as Troy’s second home, Wrigley Field has tours and gift shops. The surrounding neighborhood has plenty of bars and restaurants as well.
It’s not a trip to Chicago without deep dish pizza! Our personal favorite is Pequod’s pizza, but other options include Lou Malnati’s and Giordano’s.
Packed full of great restaurants and bars, Fulton Market is one of Chicago’s trendiest neighborhoods. Some of our favorite places include Aba, the Aviary, and Momotaro. Please be prepared to make a reservation in advance as many places fill up quickly! For a more casual experience, we highly recommend the Time Out Market.
Check out a comedy show at a place where some of the greats like Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Chris Farley, and Steve Carrell got their start! It’s also located near Wells Street in Old Town if you’re looking for dinner or drinks after a show.
